Kurt W. Schreiber (KA3LNG)

Kurt W. Schreiber KA3LNG of Robinson Township (Coraopolis), 76, became a Silent Key on Wednesday, March 4, 2009. He was a long-time member of the Steel City ARC W3KWH, and spent many years as newsletter editor of SCARC Kilo-Watt Harmonics newsletter. A good friend to all, always with a quip and a smile ready, a fixture at most area hamfests year after year, and a good friend. He will be sorely missed. From the newspaper obituatry at Son of the late Fritz and Anne Schreiber; beloved husband of Nancy Denninger Schreiber; dear father of Kurt William (Michelle) Schreiber II and Cynthia Ann (Robert) Stathers; loving grandfather of Christopher and Aaron Schreiber and Dirk Stathers; brother of the late Harry and Fred Schreiber, Alleen Armani and Erna Pastorak. Friends received at the HERSHBERGER-STOVER INC. FUNERAL HOME, 170 Noble Ave., Crafton, on Saturday 6-8 pm and Sunday 12-3 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Service Monday at 11 am in Ascension Lutheran Church, 1290 Silver Lane, Robinson Twp. (McKees Rocks), PA 15136. Everyone please meet at church. If desired, Memorials may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church.
