I remember Colin from 1960 when he was AP2CR
Mobile with a KWM1. My first AP2 on SSB. Colin also operated from East Pakistan (now S21) later that year. He told me it was hard to work the pile ups with the KWM1 and no RIT or split capability!
He sent me a picture which was published in the W4KVX DX Bulletin Magazine. RIP Colin.

For those of you that knew Colin personally, it would be agreed that he was indeed one in a million ...a great friend. I knew Colin when I was stationed in Yokosuka Japan (KA2RD) from 1983-1992, having contacts either directly or by Amtor or RTTY. Not too many HAMs knew that Colin was a British citizen. Colin is indeed missed by many.
