Rolando de Avila (W2/CP1BH)

May 13, 2009

Rolando was the owner of EISCO (Electronics International Service Corporation) in Wheaton, MD and Glens Falls, NY from the early 60's to present. He grew up in La Paz, Bolivia and moved with his wife and kids to the Washington DC area in the 1960's. In the 1980's he moved to upstate New York where he continued his business. He was a well respected member of the HAM community and attended many hamfests over the years. He will be dearly missed.
