Donald S. Jones (Don),54, passed shortly after Field Day on Sunday evening, June 28th 2009. He was founder and immediate past President, and Vice President of the Jefferson County A.R. Club,and was an ARRL Life Member.
Don loved operating on HF, and VHF, also on simplex.He made over 50 contacts on Field Day Saturday using the club call, KD8DMI.
He was a great mentor in the hobby.
I will miss his voice on the air.

Reception Wednesday, July 1st, from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Spencer-Eckles-Norton Funeral Home, in Halltown,WV., off of Rt. 340,and Halltown Road, near his QTH.
Funeral services will be by the Eckles- Spencer-Norton Funeral Home in Halltown,(Harper's Ferry,)West Virginia on Thursday, July 2,2009 at the Fairview Lutheran Cemetery, in Bolivar, WV. NNNN
