John was one of my first 2 meter contacts. He just lived several blocks from me and it was always a pleasure to chat with him. I don't think I ever went away without learning something new about Ham Radio. He also was a great friend to ham radio by all the investments he made in helping "everybody" become better operators. His work and effort on the I.R.A. Link system will be a testimonial to his love of people and Ham radio.
John, thank you for all you gave us.
May you rest in peace now.
