Harry Helms (W5HLH)

Oct. 15th 2009

Harry Helms, Author of shortwave and ham radio books passed away on October 15th at the age of 57. His Shortwave Listening Guidebook was my first radio book and guide into the HF world. There's a link on QRZ to his blog where he talks about his life facing death with cancer, and other issues. I never met him on or off the air, but after reading his blog I came away impressed by his understanding as to what is important in our earthly life.
