Steve was a true ham,he loved the hobby.Always tried to put OHIO county Indiana on the air .VHF contester to the hilt!!!!

I got to know Steve when I was young ham still in high school back in the early 80's. Steve was indeed an ever present station on both 2m and 6m SSB. Steve and I had many enjoyable evening QSO's, and that is what I fondly remember him for. I was not aware of his illness until he had passed, and was very saddened to learn of it. Steve, the world and our hobby of ham radio is better for your presence, and know that you are not forgotten. 73 for now till we cross paths on the other side. Don (Woody) Fox N8ECH
