Richard "Dick" Jones (W4SUG)
Dick Jones was a retired radio broadcast engineer residing in Neptune Beach, Florida. A suburb of Jacksonville. Dick received much of his electronics background in the US Navy. He retired from COX Radio Inc. He was the chief engineer for the Jacksonville FL group of Cox owned Radio Stations when he retired. Dick and I spent many hours on PSK and RTTY fine tuning antennas and testing gear. He loved building models. One model he was working on was the PT109 boat built to scale. He was a stickler for detail and enjoyed every moment of life. His favorite band was 6 meters and spent many hours in the shack tuning 6 meters and the 15 and 20 meter HF bands. A fun person to be with and a darn good friend. We miss you Dick. 73's Rest easy my friend. Jon Bennett NQ4A, Richmond, VA
