Walt Hilton (KA6VNU)
June 16, 2006
Walter made a huge difference to the ham radio community by helping many hams get started or just nudge them enough to make them want to learn more and upgrade. Walt was one of the few people who talked to crew members on all 5 shuttles, and a majority of the ISS crew members. Walt will be missed by many of the N6ICW repeater users here in Sacramento.

I considered Walt a good friend and he help me a lot with Ham radio. He got me really interested in 6 Meter SSB. And yes, he is missed.
