Yusuf "YUS" Kadioglu (TA1AN)

December 30, 2010

TA1AN Yusuf Kadioglu, a retired Navy Communications Officer, veteran of 1974 Turkish-Greek conflict, passed away after suffering a heart attack. He was one of the leading CW operators in TA amateur community. As an elmer, he had helped many new amateurs gain their first knowledge about the morse code. With his loss, both Turkish and foreign amateurs will feel a great emptiness especially on frequencies used for cw.
