Ross Goodwin (VE7RK)

My father and Elmer was licensed in 1935 as VE5RK prewar in Prince George, BC. He attended Room 19 in Vancouver, BC and obtained his commercial radio ticket. He worked as a Commercial with Pan American World Airways and the BC Police Force. During WW11 he was a Sparks with the Canadian Merchant navy. He went around the world twice. After the war he obtained VE7RK and became an electrical contractor and businessman. In 1988 he was awarded a plaque from the Fort George Amateur Radio Club (VE7FG)celebrating 50 years in Amateur Radio at the VE7ZZZ contest location where he spent many happy times. 73 Dad
