ZEKE GREEN (WB5CVR)
APRIL 15, 2001
Zeke (WB5CVR) was Mr. North Texas Ham. He was always on the the "double nothing" machine to talk with visitors and friends. One local ham stated, "Zeke, a legend in his own time." I was passing through the Sherman area from Oklahoma to Dallas for over 11 years, Zeke was always there to talk on the "double nothing" machine day or night. We worked together at Collins Radio. His hamshack and collection of parts was "Ham Heaven." 73's Zeke.

Zeke will be long remembered in this part of Texas. I had been talking to Zeke for over 25 years in Amateur Radio. His distinctive voice and style of communicating will be missed.
