Walt Schick (W2KE)

September 27, 2011

Walt passed on at the age of 101 after over 60 years in ham radio. After retiring due to a heart attack at age 58 (he lived 43 years after his heart attack!), he repaired an endless number of rigs for free. He was also the member of a team in Schenecatdy, NY that won an international multi-operator contest - one of the big ones, although I don't remember which one at this point. Thanks for fixing my rig all those times, Walt.
