Ira I. Bledsoe (W4IB)

October 17, 2011

Ira resided in Richmond VA and is survived by his wife and many children. Ira was a warm and friendly person. Never meeting a stranger. He loved Ham radio and had many adventures over the years. Ira was a member of the ARRL VE License testing team here in Richmond under the leadership of W4PW. I served along side Ira during many testing sessions here in Richmond. I will really miss Ira as will many who had known him. God bless you with eternal peace Ira. W4IB, SK at age 89

Just a note to say how much we'll miss Ira at our testing session and his good nature at our pre-test breakfasts. Ira was truly what being a good neighbor ham was all about. He was a gentleman and a nice guy. We wish him and his family the best and we'll miss you old timer. PatW
