Bill Meyer (KD8HPD)

November 8, 2011

Bill Meyer SK on November 8, 2011. Bill was an incredible guy, always funny and willing to share a laugh....most of the time at his own expense. Bill suffered a lot of health up's and down's in the past 5 years, but never complained to anyone and most us didn't know he was as sick as he was. He downplayed his illness to the utmost extreme. Bill was afraid he'd be forgotten by his friends once he was gone. I wish I could tell him how silly that notion was, but I'm sure he is too busy now formthatnonsense, logging all contacts on the best ham radio God could ever make in Heaven. Bill, we will miss you my friend. Your laugh and your sarcastic wit about "those special brownies" will always bring a smile to my face. We love you buddy! Rest in peace and until we meet again.....73. Kirk AB8BC
