I met Tom when I was an electrical inspector at Northrop in Rolling Meadows. We were assigned to the secret "black" program that produced the countermeasures for the SR-71 Black Bird. He was a Quality Engineer at the time. He helped me a great deal in my job duties. But, most importantly, he rekindled my interest in amateur radio. When he started to build his Heath HW-5400, that was it. I had to get one too and get back on the air. Thank-you Tom. You ARE missed!
