Dan Nixon (W4EA)

March 28, 2012

A great person and friend. I miss him already!

What a great guy. Dan was outgoing and had tons of friends. I was going to meet him this morning at his shack. Guess we will have to postpone that for a while. Keep the tubes warm Dan, 73.

Dan was a fine gentleman and always gave of himself to others. You couldn't ask for a better friend..

Dan was a good friend and a good person. I will always remember when Dan was a pilot at Eastern Airlines and flew into HH2 land and brought me a cooler full of milk and food. His cheerful smile and happy outlook was an example we should all strive to follow. 73 buddy, Steve K4JPD

What can I say, Dan was a great guy and loved by all who knew him. RIP old friend.

To say that I loved that man is an understatement. Few will ever have a friend like Dan was to me. It's very hard to imagine my phone never ringing again with his voice on the other end. If I am extremely lucky, we will meet again. 73 and hope to see you later.

I had just re found Dan on facebook. Knew him forever what a loss. I am orginally from Miami too. I see several old friends left messages here. Many of you might of knowen me as Grip. Sad day.
