Clint Luhmannn (W6OG)

January 2012

The amateur community and DX'ers worldwide lost a great operator and a good friend this year with the passing of Clint. Clint never chased "paper" saying "I know I worked them". A shipboard CW operator during the 40's, Clint could still copy 35 WPM and carry on a conversation with someone in the shack at the same time. An avid 75 meter DXer, Clint could be found every winter working Europe via the long path. Many hams in this world will miss Clint, I know I will.
