Roger Sisemore (KF5MHE)

April 1, 2012

Roger was a new ham that I elmered in August 2011. He was completely enamored with ham radio and "all in" when it came time to set up his station -loading up with primo gear - great radios, a nice antenna system and digital capability. He upgraded to General in his first month. Roger's business was electronics and he had great intelligience and capabilities. Most of all he was a great friend not only to me, but countless others. I counted numerous times he dug into his pockets to help friends in need and expected nothing in return. I miss him everyday and can't help but feel a little unfulfilled on his behalf in that he did not get a long time to enjoy our hobby.

Rick Menton (N0JYC) introduced me to Roger. In the short period of time I knew him he made a wonderful impression. Rick and I spent a spring day helping him with his antenna installation and we laughed and joked around so much that before we knew it was done. Yes I miss him. Rest In Peace Roger see you Later! 73
