THOMAS SHUTICH (WA8ZXY)

Tom was a special friend, whom Lee W8ZP and I would get together every Friday afternoon for lunch. We talked about everything under the sun, and solved most of the world problems too! Besides being philosophical, Tom for many years created the Ham Toons for The Grand Rapids Amateur Radio Associations newsletter, the QRM. He did this, as everything he touched, with love. Tom was most happy when he talked about his religion, being Catholic. Tom was wounded and wheelchair bound from the "Police Action" in Korea. But you'd never know from listening to him. Tom will be missed,but he is at rest, finally.
