David Smith (KE4UEI)

April 10, 2013

Dave was a Vietnam Vet,a father, a Dispatcher at the Martin County Emergency Operations center, an avid Amateur Radio Operator and Coordinator of SkyWarn and active member of ARES/RACES. Dave was struck by lightning while on the job as a dispatcher many years ago and was disabled since. He was pre-deceased by his father who was another great guy. I am glad I had a chance to know Dave and I am shocked to learn that he died. There are some people that you never forget. Dave is one of those guys.
