Joseph Duffin (W2ORA)
June 17 2013
Joe was a great member of the amateur DX community and a good person. He will be missed by the amateur radio community especially in South New Jersey.

Joe was a staunch supporter of all things Irish especially the Irish Radio Transmitter Society. He encouraged me to work for the "Irish Counties Award" which sits proudly on my shack wall. Always upbeat, a pleasure to talk to.

I was in a group of Hams who met every Sunday
on 21317kcs at 1700hrs for over 40 years. Joe
was Chairman of the group who ran the Irish
Hour. Joe was a good friend, may his gentle
soul rest in peace. 73 Joe.

I met Joe through the South Jersey Radio
Association ("SJRA"), of which we were both
members. For decades (long before I became a
member), Joe supported the SJRA by offering
his time, cheerfulness and participation. He
is deeply missed by me and I am sure the rest
of the SJRA. May his soul rest in peace. Until
we can QSO on the other side, 73, from N2EAC
