Richard Dale Raverty (N7PFE)

Jan 16, 2013

A freind for 14 years who mentored me during those 14 years anything that had to do with ham radio and girls and LIFE in general , he bought me all of my ham radios till i got to me a general class , then he said to me ( i have helped you all this time now give my equipment back ) and i went on a venture of buying my own radio in the spring of 2008 . Its rare to have such a friend who knows all about you good and bad , Dick was that kind of friend . He did not judge you unless he had good reason to , he was first licensed in 1990 -2018 Raverty, Richard Dale Age 63, of Shelton, WA, formerly of Richfield. Preceded in death by father, Lyle. M. Raverty. Survived by mother, Mavis Raverty; son, Kevin Lyle Raverty (Amber) and grandson, Ryan Lyle Raverty; sister, Donna Johnson; nephews, Jason Johnson (Marta), and Brian Johnson (Anika); great-nephew, Magnus; and other relatives. "Dick Raverty ... fought with me in ... engagements... cheerful in all weathers, never shirked a task... splendid behavior." I like that... think about it... "Cheerful in all weathers..." Didn't matter if it was raining.. snowing... hot or cold... ole' Dick Raverty was cheerful. Dick Raverty was reliable. "Splendid behavior.." No explanation needed.
