John Sgonina (WB0SQZ)

April 15 2014

John was a good friend for many years, and simply a great guy. He held a Masters Degree and retired as a VP for a large medical device manufacturer. In addition to ham radio, John was an avid boater and enjoyed playing the organ. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Till we met again "SQZ"..... 73 John W4II

So sad to hear about John. We have been friends since the late 70's and enjoyed ham radio to the max. He and his lovely wife Pat,would come to my theater organ concerts. He enjoyed the theater organ so much, he began taking lessons and loved playing for the last years of his life. John, you were one classy gentlemen and I hope you and K M zero X are making things to go 'bump in the night' up there. You will be missed and we will try to fill the void on the No Name Net. My life was better to have you as a friend.
