Life ARRL Member, Past SCM, SM, Pacific Vice Director. Jettie was 93, a resident of Roseville, CA and member of the Sierra Foothills ARC of Auburn, CA. He was an engineer and had a colorful career working for United Airlines in San Francisco, running his own business and working for other companies. He was a distinguished member of the Armed Forces.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Jettie. He was a fine cw operator and was a net control for the Northern California Net for many years, where he also served as net manager. I first worked him in the late 1970s,and he was a true gentleman in every way.
