Dwight David Donovan (WD8INN)

Sept 2015

Dwight was a straight forward kind of guy with an edge. I Spoke with him many many times on the Telephone when an X friend of mine was sick. I also enjoyed his antics on 3.890. Rest in Peace Dwight WD8INN 73. May God rest your Soul in Heaven. From Nick W8NVC

I never had the pleasure of meeting Dwight personally. However, I had the chance to speak with him the night before he passed away. He had just bought a new Shure Super 55 Microphone. He was very happy with it. He also seemed happy and felt that he was getting better from recent surgery. To all his friends, Please pray for his soul. He had a troubled life and was very sad for years after the death of his wife and daughter. Now you are with them in Heaven Dwight. God rest your soul in the arms of the Angels. 73 WD8INN You will be missed. Dwight David Donovan R.I.P From Nicky W8NVC

Dwight was a man with his own show. You either liked him or disliked him. He will be missed by all.

I got to meet Dwight once, and talked to him regularly on 75 meters. He will definitely be missed on the 3892 Zoo! 73, Rest in Peace, and God Bless, Dwight.

Knew Dwight from the mid 70's. The "Green Lantern" on 11 Meters before he got his ticket. Visited him at his QTH in Akron, Ohio a few years ago (2012/13?) - still the same old Dwight, lol. Rest in Peace Buddy.
