Joe Jensen (KB6KZD)

January 25, 2015

"Pop", as close friends called him, was a well traveled individual that loved his family and friends unconditionally. He was my Elmer from the time I met him when I was 15 yro, I am now 45. He was an adopted Dad to a lot of his very close friends. He taught me most everything I know about this wonderful hobby we call Amateur Radio. He loved riding his Harley and would often take either myself or my wife with him on rides. He introduced me to calamari during a lunch ride to Monterrey Bay, Ca from our home town of Coalinga, Ca. Just like ham radio, he opened my eyes and pallet to a vast variety of things which I am very grateful for. There is way too much to tell about this wonderful man to put in print so I will leave it at this: KB6KZD, KB6KZD, de N6JRZ: Best 73's and 88's. We will meet again one day Pop. N6JRZ clear....
