William D. Fleming "Des" (WA6MHX)

2016

WA6MHX Des, native of New Zealand, resident of Willits California passed of natural causes after a long slow decline. Well known in AM circles on the West Coast, his unique and authentic personality, and keen interest in radio, computers, and flying will be truly missed by all who knew him. Des is survived by a brother not living in the U.S. His radio estate is being handled by W6JRC Jim Cline of Ukiah. Several Johnson transmitters and a Globe King 500A are temporarily in the hands of Larry W6WUH who would like them to go to Des AMI and Early Bird Net buddies before then end of February 2016, if possible.Pick up in Northern California, please.
