Paul Schneider (KB9IKN)


June 15, 2015


Paul K. Schneider, age 71, of Green Bay, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born July 30, 1943 in Egg Harbor, WI, son of the late Lloyd and Gertrude (Le Mere) Schneider. Paul married Sharon Lumaye, May 16, 1964 and together they shared 51 loving years of marriage. He worked for the Village of Allouez as a mechanic for 30 years, retiring in 2001. Paul was also a volunteer firefighter for Village of Allouez. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed many hobbies, including HAM Radio for which he was especially active on 10 Meters. Paul is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Steven and Michelle Schneider; sister, Theresa Davis; brother, Lyn Schneider; sisters-in-law: Carol Smith, Bonnie (Kerry) Jenquin, Jackie (Stanley) Lanser and Cindy (Dennis) Ensley. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bruce (Helen) Schneider; his mother and father-in-law, Harry and Vallie Lumaye and brothers-in-law, Robert Davis and John Smith. Friends and relatives may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay), Monday, June 22, 2015 from 3 to 5:45 PM. A memorial service will follow at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, https://secure.qgiv.com/for/pulfibfou, in Paulís name are appreciated. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at Unity Hospice, especially Molly, Brenda and Jennifer.
