Jimmy Hood (KB9JJP)

12-15-2015

Jimmy was a blind ham with a razor sharp mind and a quick and sometimes cutting wit, always in fun though. He was from the San Diego area before moving with his parents to Springfield Illinois at age fourteen where he spent most of the rest of his life. He was a life-long SWL'er, and was active on the HF bands, but he seemed happiest when rag chewing with old friends on 146.430 MHz simplex. He is missed by many.
