Dewey was a great friend and will be miss by many of his ham friends he made over the years.

Age 74 passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at his home in Picayune, Ms. He was a native of Lenoir City and a former resident of Madisonville. Dewey was retired from the Merchant Marine Service after 37 years service. He was an avid Ham Radio Operator with many friends around the world. He was preceded in death by parents, George Conner and Nelle Conner Martin. Survived by daughters, Wanda Adams and husband, Donald of Picayune, Ms., Mary Ann Soldevilla and husband, Kim of Douglasville, Ga; sister, Ruth Lee and husband, Kenneth of Carriere, Ms; brother, Marvin Martin of Knoxville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Private funeral service and burial will be held in the Lenoir City Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to your favorite charity. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is serving the family of Dewey Conner.
