I worked with Jim at the LearCal Division of Lear, Inc. in Los Angeles in the 1950's. I was General Manager of the division at the time. We manufactured two way radio equipment and automatic pilots for the General Aviation market place. He was always a friend and a big help to all he came in contact with, both socially and in the business world. An interesting fellow with an unending appetite for knowledge in our wonderful hobby of amateur radio.
All in all, a gentleman and friend I will miss.

Forgot to mention in my prior comments that I first worked Jim on 3 July 1955.....46 years ago on 40 meters. He was living in Santa Monica at that time. His XYL is Dorothy, KC6DOP, as I recall.
Ah, the good ol' days.
