Donald Parsley (W4FT)

July,1975

Don was a legend on 10 meters from his farm near Wilmington, North Carolina. He used a Collins receiver, an open construction KW(AM)xmitter, running Eimac 250TH's push-pull into a 4 element beam. He'd probably blank out every TV within 3 miles if he were operating today(hi). Don was my inspiration for this hobby and was known by many all over the world.
