Mclaughlin b. (Bruce) David (KC8GVX)

Bruce was control operator of two 2 meter nets.He and his family lived in Elkins WV. He was control operator for the 146.775 Elkins net,and the146.850 Barbour and upshur county nets.Bruce had a good sence of humor.Along with being control operator of two nets.Bruce injoyed rag chewing.and amature radio.Bruce was some the first hams that i talked with after i became a ham in aug.2000.Bruce and his wife (kc8hhl) Diane were helping thier children along to become amature radio operators also.Bruce liked yaesu radios witch included hand helds,and a set of 440,2 meter and 6 meter portable rigs.I always injoyed talking with Bruce.He was well liked by all hams on the nets.His memory will be with me and so many others. Bruce is gone but he will not be forgotten by so many hams he came in contact with. (KC8PGM)
