CONTESTING: my interest first started operating RTTY contest with several 1st place W1 call area finishes in several S.A.R.G.T WW RTTY . the S.A.R.G.T. is this first contest I officialy entered.

Also active in the NH QSO PARTY trivia: New hampshire was the first state to sponsor "state QSO parties" . The NH QSO party is the 2nd week in Febuary.

I enjoy contesting for both operating and technical challenges esp. VHF-Microwave work which I am active HILL-TOPPING in VHF /UHF contests.

Look for me in the January, June, September ARRL VHF QSO parties also the August ARRL UHF contest and July CQ W.W. VHF Contest. we have several 1st place finishes in these contests for 2006 1st place portable in all 3 ARRL VHF contests, Jan., June, Sept. 2006 . 2004 SMIRK 6m QSO Party 1st place NH. 2005 10th place worldwide.

Recent HF CONTESTING: 2004 & 2005 ARRL INTL' DX CONTEST PHONE-QRP 2nd place US & Canada and 1st Place in the ARRL Northeast Division. 2004 ARRL INTL' DX CONTEST CW-QRP 1st place NH.

Antennas for Portable "hill-Topping" My 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with home made drive on plate with rotator with rack mounted support arm, push up mast, I use a 50-1300 MHZ Log periodic if I'm feeling lazy , dont laugh :) it rendered Second place finish in the portable category for the 2004 JUNE VHF CONTEST and 1st Place in the 2004 September QSO Party.

NOW ACTIVE on 8 BANDS 50 MHz to 3456 MHZ contiguous.

Portable OPerating: on 1,000 FT hill just outside Concord, NH miles outside of Concord the Hill has a elevation that is just 0ver 1,000 feet. with Unobscured Horizon from South to West to North.

I will be active during all ARRL VHF and UHF , CQ WW VHF, SMIRK and other VHF contests as well as during AURORA, E'Skip , TROPO , Meteor Scatter Band openings when I catch them with the best of my efforts, email me for any possible Schedules.

Portable station is setup in the back of my SUV where I am Using a Yaesu FT-736R for 2M, 6M, 1 1/4M, 70CM and DEMI Transverters for 903 MHz, 1296 MHz, 2304 MHz,and 3456 MHz .All Bands from 50 Mhz-6M to 2304 MHz-13 CM.

The Antennas: 6M: 4 Element Yagi by DS, 2M 12 Ele 17 ft. boom K1FO style Yagi, 222 MHz 17 Ele Yagi, 432 MHz 25 Element 17 foot boom K1FO style Yagi , Microwave Antennas: 903 Mhz 33 Element loop Yagi on 12 FT. boom, 1296 MHz 45 Element Loop yagi on 12 FT. boom , and "Blowtorch" for 2304 MHz 76 Ele Loop yagi on 12 FT. boom and for 3456 MHz a 76 ELE Loop Yagi on a 8 Ft. boom. all by Directive systems.

All Coax Cables are Times Microwave LMR-240UF/400UF 6&2M, LMR-400UF for 222, 432, LMR-600UF for 903 @ 1296 MHz Attempting to keep cable loss to a minimum. Low loss custom cables were made and kept short as possible. The result is respectable Low loss with out "heavy weight hardline!"

Cable loss by band at the antenna: 6m Loss less than 1 dB, 2m Loss less than 1.5 dB, 222 Mhz loss less than 2 Db, 432 Mhz loss 2 dB, 903Mhz loss 2.0 dB, 1296 MHz loss 2.4 dB. 2304 MHz 1.4 dB loss. and 3456 MHz 1.6 dB Loss .

Other Hobbies and Interests Include: Hiking, Mtn. Biking, Travel, Chess, Skiing, SnowMobiling, Photography, Astronomy, Astrophotography,etc. Too many Hobbies and not enough time!!!

ATTN: FELLOW FRIENDS AROUND THE WORLD, I DO USE LOTW "LOG BOOK OF THE WORLD" So please do register and UPLOAD your logs ! I am also E-QSL AUTHENTICATED , I prefer LOTW, However I am a QSL Collector , so please I still want and collect real paper QSL cards!! Internet QSLing is great for award credits however this does not replace a nice card for the QSL Albums to browse through!! :) so please use LOTW but send your QSL card!...

Also fellow CONTESTERS I UPLOAD most of my Contest logs to LOTW and E'QSL and Encourage others to do the same if you Email your contest results you can upload the text ADI or TQL file To LOTW and E'QSL at the same time its easy and can be helpful to others.
