Licensed since 1952, W1WEF operates most major contests. Please QSL with SASE or return postage , and I will respond immediately, or use LOTW. I look forward to working you again in the next contest or for a longer QSO. I operated ten times from Curacao in ARRL DX CW and phone contests, either single op or mostly M/S with my good friend W1BIH.

I operate mobile CW almost daily, operating more often from the car than from my home station between contests. Outside of ham radio, I enjoy RVing, fishing (mainly salt water),and boating. I enjoy working on antennas almost as much as operating, and always seem to have antennas planned or undergoing maintenance. I also enjoy carpentry, and among other projects built a ski chalet in Vt with my wife's help and moral support. We used to ski every weekend, in Vt but took many ski vacations in Colorado.

Retired since 1992 after 32 years, I was an Engineering manager in an Instrumentation group at Pratt and Whitney in East Hartford Ct. JACK W1WEF
