Originally licensed in 1966 as WN3GLX (Novice) at the age of 15 yrs old thanks to my Elmer and Uncle W3ZJS (Now W3FP) in Philadelphia PA where I was born and raised. Updated to WA3GLX (general) in 1967.
Served in the US Navy as a Radio op including 3 years with "Operation Deep Freeze" and eventually settled down in New Zealand in 1986. It's been a interesting journey to say the least!
Located in the Seaside Suburb of North Beach/New Brighton which is located 15KM NW of Christchurch. The Qth is just "down the road" from the South Pacific Ocean and has been a good location for radio.

Main interests are chasing Dx, having a dab in contests and just general rag chewing centered around CW, RTTY and PSK31 (Ooops almost forgot to mention there is a microphone somewhere in the shack too for SSB).
At present the equipment consists of a Kenwood TS2000 and TS530S (classic setup with the Remote VFO240 and Speaker SP230). This is followed up with a Ameritron Amplifier(3x572B) along with miscellaneous gear for VHF/UHF and Satellites.
Antennas consist of a Mosley TA33 Triband Yagi and inverted vee's for 80/40 and 30 meters.
Currently hold awards for DXCC WAS WAP WAZL and the Arrl A1-op Club to name a few.
Have held the callsign ZL3NB since 1994. Other calls held have been WA3GLX (still current) WA3GLX/ZL3ADZ (71-74) ZL0AAH (86)and ZL3ADX (86-94).

As for QSL'ing. The Logger32 logbook is uploaded to LoTW on a regular basis. Qsl's via the Buro ok and 100 percent acknowledged including SWL cards. For Direct Qsl: Please follow carefully the need for a SASE along with either ONE (1) IRC or TWO (2) USD.

This is a wonderful and great hobby...Let's keep it that way and remember the bands are never "Dead" Just call CQ!
