I bought this on e-bay hoping that it would be better than the radio shack amplified speaker I'm using now;but unfortunately it isn't.no information came with the package so I don't know anything about " talkback " or whatever.there is a switch on the back which doesn't appear to make any difference in the audio quality or noise reduction catagories and the distortion level is about the same as the radio shack, which isn't too bad.HOWEVER,as I swapped between the two speakers,I noticed the output volume level is about 30% higher in the radio shack speaker !! FOR THIS REASON,I would suggest buying the radio shack speaker for about the same price.
