KW in a Shoe Box  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Replaced my large and heavy 8877 based 2M Amp with this compact SSPA which I use for EME. Basically plug and play, no tuning of the plate or grid. Quiet, small and efficent. Great support from the team at M2, as I ran into a some shiping damage and they rectified the problem. The unit appears to be built well and according to my Bird 43 puts out 1000W in JT65 mode with 50W in. Tubes are history.

Great 2 meter SS Kilowatt Amp  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Just received my 2M-1K2 amplifier. It is lightweight and delivers over 1 kw output for 50 watts input. This is a new step forward in VHF amplifier technology. It is ideal for JT-modes for EME and meteor scatter. I am planning on using this amp for DXpeditions. This replaces a 70 lb. tube type amplifier. I have the model with the self contained power supply which operates on 220 VAC. It is also available without the internal 50V, 50A power supply. Mike Stahl and group have scored a hit with this amplifier.
