ANOTHER WINNER !  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
Another excellent antenna tuner from DenTron. Have always favored tuners that are beefy and built to take it. Johnson Vikings, Drakes and DenTrons are very representative of this philosophy of build, and can tune a wet noodle.

This tuner is a little more compact than some of the cinder blocks I have owned in the past, and works extremely well.

I use a variety of wire antennas which the DenTron tunes easily, and the AT-1K has no problems with QRO. It goes without saying that the controls are sturdy, and have a real postive feel to them.

You can't go wrong with this tuner. 73

Nice KW Plus Tuner  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Purchased used on Flea Bay.
A very good small footprint T type High Power Tuner. Handles 1.2 KW PEP and 1 KW CW no problem at all. A great feature is the Antenna selctor antenna switch for:
Coax 1
Bypass (straight thru)
Coax 2 (Alternate)
Single Wire
Balanaced
Has a panel meter for SWR and Forward Relative Power.
Since this does not have a roller inductor but is a switched inductor and it is much quicker to tune. There is no roller mechanism to keep maintaining. Takes me only a few seconds to tune it up. Very repeatable settings.
There are no manuals on line for this tuner, but other than the antenna switches it will operate the same as any Dentron Super Tuner.
This unit operates much like the Dentron Super Tuner which is also very good but does not have any antenna selector switches. There were no reviews of this antenna in eHam so I thought I would provide this to everyone.
This is a high quality tuner that will last a long time. I was able to tune my 125 foot Inverted L on all bands 160-10M.
I do not know how many of these were made by Dentron, but if you find one buy it.
