Description: Comtek is shipping its new RCAS-8 Remote Control Antenna System for 8 antennas. Using the same DPDT relays from the ACB-4 series Phasing System since 1990, the RCAS-8 handles legal limit plus plus. The RCAS-8 utilizes 5 relays for 8 positions and only 6 conductor control cable required. Five Years and not one damn glitch!

Update to previous report.
Extremely reliable. I have had mine 5 yrs now and it has not failed to switch once! This is a contest station and the RCAS-8 gets lots of use.
Very impressive.

I have evaluated all the antenna switches currently on the market (May 2001), Comtek RCAS-8 IS BY FAR THE BEST VALUE. I also own a SIXPACK & STACKMATCH, but it is not fair to have these in the same class as the Comtek. They are designed for different purposes. IF YOU NEED A STRAIGHT AHEAD REMOTE ANTENNA SWITCH--YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THE COMTEK (in my opinion). Top quality form & function all the way. IF YOU WANT TO DO RAPID FIRE CONTEST WORK, OR PHASE/STACK ANTENNAE GO WITH THE SIXPACK & STACKMATCH. Make sure you research features as these are three very different products.
