Great, classic generator for homebrew tube work  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
Lowest output of 75 kHz is unusually low for an RF generator, useful for working on double-conversion sets with a low 2nd IF. Dial is huge (10.5" x 7") with an additional vernier in the center. Solidly built and stable: after a few minutes of warmup, it doesn't drift even with the "slam fist on table" test. Only reason I gave it a "4" and not a "5" is that even after careful calibration, this is obviously "analogue" technology and in some ranges or parts of the dial the output frequency is 1 percent to 2 percent off, as checked with a digital frequency counter.
