9 Years and Still Working!  Time owned: more than 12 months
Although most folks know that you can initiate tuning on most modern Yaesu rigs paired with an LDG tuner by using a simple stereo patch cable, the LDG Y-OTT is just about the only easy one-touch solution for FT-817 owners.

My Y-OTT and Z-100 (W4RT 'special' w/internal 8-AA holder) continues to work FB after countless outings and hours in the shack.

Make sure to read the LDG manual for this interface: you'll need to disable ATAS (if using on an 857 or 897) and set the CAT rate to 4800 baud.

I'm sad that these are no longer offered, but glad i have one for my 817. Snag one if you can find one!
