Surprising quality for the price  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
I picked these ear phones up at Walgreens on sale for $3.99 to replace the ear phones that came with my TECSUN 390 and an MP3 player. For the price I didn't expect much of an improvement, but I was really surprised by the sound quality. The key is in the separate sound drivers and the "isolation" feature that helps block outside sounds from interfering with what you're listening to. There's no real technology to this isolation: it's just the shape of the neoprene eartips that confirm to the outer ear canal.

At this point, Walgreens has probably already sold out of the earphones. But they're still available through Amazon ( These would make great ear phones for QRP work!
