When first seeing this book and finding that it was nearly £17, I thought it was a bit on the pricey side. Yet compare it with other books on technical topics...
It was the best £16.95 that I have ever spent. I was looking into DXpeditioning, and spent about 3 hours searching the internet but to no avail. I now know why. Everything is in this book, from starting out, to the things you are most likely to forget to take with you. All I can say is Excellent. I hope to see you all on my DXpedition in July 2003, that could not have happened without the time and effort put in by the editors of this book: 6 out of 5

Must-Buy for any Serious DXer

This book is a labour of love by the author team.
Based on the highly successful DXpedition to the Spratly Islands in 1998 as 9M0C, this book tells many of the secrets of how it was done.
The 20 chapters give a huge amount of advice to any would be DXpeditioner. There is advice on how best to work DXpeditions from your home QTH.
This is a quality book which should grace any shack bookshelf. It is one of those books which you will pick up and re-read may times.
