Got this from a local music supply store for around $17. The pedal is made of metal and is well-constructed. The cable is around 10ft. long and rubber pads on both sides seem to be sufficient. A reverse switch is provided which is a good thing.

I modded the ends to fit to an 8-pin connector for a TS-440 and it keys the PTT with no problems.

One thing I noticed is that the action seems to stiff for my taste- but no worries here, as the split ring that secures the hinge of the pedal together is easy to remove. I cut the spring to a shorter length and that took care of the problem.

With proper use, this looks like should last a long time.
