Fantastic performance small antenna   Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I recently purchased the antenna from a ham buddy of mine who is a major 6m player in Florida. He gave me a great deal on the antenna as it was extra to his needs. I put up the OP des to take the place of a stack of seven element M2 antennas above my house that were too low and underperforming based primarily due to location. The OP DES antenna is easy to put together and I have it above my Mosley super 33 HF antenna. It is on a triex tower that is about 35' high on the edge of a 150' high canyon. So far the results have been amazing. I have worked four new entities this summer season including JA twice and was heard a third time yesterday but could not complete the contact. There is no comparison to the stack this is light years better and probably because it is no longer above my house and 50' away from the canyon edge.

I am so very pleased with the antenna and would recommend this antenna to anyone looking for a small antenna that is highly effective on 6m. It does fine with 600W from my SPE 1K amplifier. So incredible the results so far.
