Nice Keyer  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
This Keyer is very well made, top notch quality circuit board and parts. Like the types of outputs on rear, positive, negative and relay keying. Uses PIC micro Computer chip as heart of unit. The timing is very nice on this Iambic keyer, easy to send with. I added a LED that will flash with the code as sent to the front of the unit on upper right corner using a transistor driver from the Keying output pin on the PIC.

Simple and effective, works with all rigs  Time owned: more than 12 months
The one unique feature this keyer has is the front panel rotary switch for selecting the type of keying your rig uses, and it also functions as a rig selector. You can have three radios connected to it. One a vacuum-tube rig using negative grid-block keying, another one a modern solid state rig, and the third one, driven by a relay contact, can be either. There's a separate jack on the back for each one. Just turn the switch to select a rig!

The front panel "tune" control is great for tuning a pi network (a plus for those of us with vacuum tube rigs) or antenna tuner. The built-in sidetone is a pure sine wave, pleasant on the ears, but can get lost in with other CW signals if you're using QSK.

With no memories, and only two settings for timing, this keyer is extremely simple. You can't use it wrong, and it'll work with any radio, a perfectly adequate first keyer.
