Not a signal generator.  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I just finished cosmetic restoration of this HP Oscillator that I received today.
It is not a signal generator in that it has no calibrated attenuator, nor internal modulation. It's a hybrid using both tubes and transistors. Typical HP quality: Excellent.

I found this in a Test Equipment seller's "other items". No bids. It was very cheap, and not only does it work, it was in near mint condition. The dial calibration is spot on.
I have plenty of signal generators. This will be just what I need in the shack for checking performance of antennas, mast mounted preamps, etc.
Free manual on Bama!

One thing nice is the tuning. It's 2 speed. go slighty past your frequency and it has a very fine tuning rate when you 'back up'. Too cool.
