Fun to build, excellent final product.  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Easy to build, just sparetime at weekends. Everything went as expected. More than 40 kHz coverage depending on VXO alignment and almost 4 watts. Very efficient AGC and useful RIT with a very nice 1 kHz crystal filter that gets rid of unwanted side signals.CW tone is obtained by self listening and according to the instructions manual by varying R6 tone frequency can be changed and twicking C17 we can change from semi to full break in operation. Stability is obtained in 5 minutes from power on. On the downside BF output is too low and we have to operate with headphones. Some extra components to achieve some more audio power to drive a loudspeaker would be appreciated. I strongly recommend it if you want to have a good time on the bench with the final result of a very useful rig for your field day operation.
